CRPF jawan injured in firing at Kathua

A jawan today suffered a gunshot injury at a CRPF post in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir and authorities are probing the incident.

A round was fired in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) post in Malhar belt of Kathua district early this morning which injured jawan Ramesh Chan, a senior police officer said here.

It is being ascertained whether the same was a result of a clash or accidental weapon handling or something else, the official said.
