CRPF officials donate money for underprivleged girl's wedding

"When it came to our notice, we gave money and kitchen items to the family," CRPF commandants Rajiv Ranjan and Mritinjay Kumar said.

The commandants, who man different units in Latehar, donated Rs 5,100 each, besides the kitchen items.

Garu police station in-charge Sujit Kumar also gave the same amount to the girl's father, a priest at a local temple.

The wedding ceremony has been fixed for June 28.
