CSE index rises 18.3 points

The CSE-40 index closed at 6145.35 points after opening at 6127.05.

Infosys Technologies lost 20 paise after opening at Rs 2520.70. The scrip closed at Rs 2520.50.

Reliance Industries lost Rs 1.65 and closed at Rs 790 after opening at Rs 791.65.

State Bank of India gained Rs 1.90 and closed at Rs 1857.

Tata Steel gained Rs 1.65 after opening at Rs 377.35.
