Dance school owner robbed of Rs 3.5 lakh

:A dance school owner was relieved of Rs 3.5 lakh cash at knife point by a 10 member gang on five bikes at Krishna nagar area here today, police said.

Tamizharasan was riding a bike with his friend from his home in Mudaliarpet to a hotel where he was to present the cash mobilised from the public for a programme there when the gang intercepted him, threatened them both with a knife and escaped with the money and his mobile phone.

The gang had been following him from his home, police said

Police said they launched a hunt to nab the gang on a complaint from Tamizharasan.
