Doc booked for conducting illegal abortions

Police today raided a clinic in the district where illegal abortions were allegedly being conducted and lodged a case against its doctor.

Acting on a complaint that illegal abortions were being carried out in the clinic run Dr Seema Madan, police raided the facility and seized medicines and medical equipment, police said.

A case has been lodged against Madan, they said.
