Doctor bros on cycle tour to spread campaign to abide laws

The Doctor brothers, who made news last year completing the Race Across America (RAAM), were in the silk city of Berhampur in Odisha as part of a new cycling expedition.

Ansesthetist Hitendra Mahajan (46) and his dentist brother brother Mahendra (40) are cycling non-stop to create awareness among the prople about following the rules enshrined in the Constitution.

The doctor brothers set out from Mumbai on December 18 and aim to cover 6,000 km along the Golden Quadrilateral in 12 days.

After touching Chennai via Bengaluru the two are moving to Kolkata and then to New Delhi and be back to Mumbai.
 

After covering a distance of 2,300 km in four days, the doctor brothers were in this Silk hub yesterday before pedalling further on their onward journey.

Subash Sahu, former Vice-president of Indian Society of Anaesthetists along with others felicitated the duo here.

"Follow the Rules and India will Rule" and "Follow the Rules and Save Life" are main objectives of their venture.

"If you want to do something for the country, then just follow the rules laid by the Constitution. This is the message we want to spread," said Hitendra before leaving Berhampur. They also distributed pamphlets to create awareness about it.
