Double for Bengal in junior rugby nationals
West Bengal achieved a memorable double, winning the boys and girls titles in the junior national rugby championship here today.
In the boys final, Bengal got the better of Maharashtra 12-7. Odisha blanked Bihar 19-0 to finish third.
Host Tamil Nadu thrashed Jammu and Kashmir 10-0 to take the fifth place.
In the girls section, Bengal defeated Odisha 17-5 to win the title.
Maharashtra made short work of Bihar 12-0 to take the third place.
