A local court here sentenced three members of a family to 10 years imprisonment and imposed a penalty of Rs 5,000 on each of them on charges of murdering a woman for dowry.
The victim, Seema was burnt alive by her husband Subhash, his parents Dhanpati and Mool Chandra in Jhagarpur village in May 2013, prosecution said.
Subhash had got married to Seema in 2007.
After hearing both parties, additional district judge Akhilesh Kumar Pandey held the trio guilty yesterday.
