DPR for breakwater jetty near Vedaranyam

Tamil Nadu government is taking steps to prepare a Detailed Project Report to set up a breakwater jetty in a location in Nagapattinam district, fisheries minister Jayabal said today.

"The government is taking efforts to prepare a Detailed Project Report to set up a breakwater jetty in Arukkattuthurai near Vedaranyam," he informed the Assembly.

He was replying to N V Kamaraj (Vedaranyam) during question hour, who requested the government to set up a breakwater jetty in that location.
