Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has seized 1,334.8 kg of ganja valued at Rs 1.34 crore, in Vijayawada and took one person into custody, DRI sources said here today.
DRI's Hyderabad Zonal Unit and Vijayawada Regional Unit seized the ganja from a van in Vijayawada last night, they said, adding the packaged ganja was placed beneath the cabbage load and was concealed in hundreds of packets.
Further investigations are underway, they added.
