Drug peddler arrested in Delhi's Jaitpur

A suspected drug was arrested with 528 grams of in South East Delhi's Jaitpur, police said Sunday.

On Saturday, a police team laid a trap near Khadda Colony, Madanpur Khadar, Jaitpur and spotted the suspect who was coming from side and was going towards Jaitpur.

During interrogation, the arrested accused revealed that he lives in since his childhood. His mother also used to peddle drugs and he also got involved in the same in his early 20s.

He used to purchase at Rs 12 lakh per kilogram from drug suppliers of Bareilly and Hapur.

Farooq used to pay Rs 500 per day to his accomplices to sell packs. He had also deployed a watchman in plain clothes in the nearby areas where he used to sell these packets, the DCP said.
