Groundnut oil climbed at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market on good demand from stockists and retailers as well as seasonal offtake.
Refined palmolein also firmed up on consistent demand from retailers.
Meanwhile, castorseed bold and castor oil commercial fell owing to subdued demand from shippers and soap industries.
Linseeds oil ruled steady in the absence of any largescale buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil rose by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 960 from Monday's closing level of Rs 950 and refined palmolein moved up by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 515 as against Rs 510 previously.
Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold dropped by Rs 125 per 100 kg to Rs 3,800 from Rs 3,925 and castor oil commercial eased by Rs 25 per 10 kg to Rs 790 as compared to Rs 815 previously.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 775 per 10 kg.
