Eight Malian troops killed in central Mali attack

Eight Malian soldiers were killed Tuesday in an attack carried out by armed men in a central area of the country regularly targeted by jihadist groups, a Malian security source said.

"We lost eight troops on Tuesday during a complex attack mounted by terrorists, between the localities of Nampala and Diabali," the source told AFP.
