Elderly woman found murdered

A 65-year-old woman was today found murdered in Morti village of Sihani Gate area of the district.

The assailants sneaked into Siksha Devi's house last night and slit her throat, police said, adding the body has been sent for post-mortem.

The woman's earrings were found missing but the other aspects that could have led to the murder are also investigated, they said.
