Eleven-year-old abducted, injured by relative

Sumit was abducted on April 29 from Mitthanpur Mahesh village under Kuthfatehgarh police station area by his relative Bhupendra Singh, who allegedly knows some sorcery.

The young boy was found yesterday from near the village pond with needles pierced into his eyes and injury marks on his neck and legs. His legs were fractured and there were also signs of sexual assault, police said.

His parents have admitted him to a private hospital in Moradabad and he was being medically examined, they said adding a case has been registered against Bhupendra. PTI COR SAB PG
