Emily Blunt splashes out on baby items

Pregnant actress Emily Blunt spent over USD 35,000 on her unborn baby in a shopping spree.

The 30-year-old 'Looper' actress and her husband John Krasinski are expected to welcome their first child - believed to be a girl - into the world later this month.

Blunt went shopping for the new arrival at upmarket boutique Petit Tresor, reported TMZ online.

The actress splashed USD 6,780 on a crib and USD 4,880 on a changing table, as well as other items including a pink bike and a small comfortable pink armchair and footstool.

The shopping spree comes a day after the British actress visited another baby boutique, Bel Bambini, where she picked up a Boppy pillow for breastfeeding, a Nested Bean Zen swaddle and several onesies in various colours.
 

Last month, Blunt and Krasinski had a "very casual" baby shower at their Los Angeles home, where guests included Jennifer Aniston, Amy Adams and Kristen Bell.
