Engineer held for allegedly accepting bribe

A PWD engineer in Rajasthan was caught allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 in Bhilwara district, police said.

B R Pinjare, an Executiv Engineer in PWD in Bhilwara, was allegedly caught red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 from a contractor for clearing his pending bills, IGP (ACB) Smita Srivastava said.

The engineer had been arrested, she said.
