Ensure earliest completion of Sanskrit clg: HP CM to officials

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today directed the officials to complete the construction of Sanskrit College in Phagli at the earliest.

Presiding over the meeting of Himachal Pradesh Sanskrit Academy here, Singh also directed the Academy to take up the translation of ancient Sanskrit manuscripts into Hindi.

"A provision of Rs 8 crorehas already been madefor the construction of the college in Phagli, Shimla and there should be no delay in construction," Singh told the officials.

The Chief Minister also received suggestions from the Academy members who advised him regarding proper training of temple pujaris and conducting camps for priests under the 'Skill Development Allowance Scheme'.
