Former DGP Naparajit Mukherjee is all set to take over as acting chairperson of WBHRC, a post which fell vacant after resignation of Justice Ashok Kumar Ganguly following allegations of harassing a law intern, an official of the commission said.
"Naparajit Mukherjee, who is presently a member of WBHRC, will be the acting chairperson of the WBHRC, till the new chairperson is appointed," state home secretary Basudeb Banerjee told PTI.
