Exercise sub-inspector killed by miscreants

An Excise sub-inspector was killed by unidentified assailants near Ultapani forest in Kokrajhar district, the police said.

Narayan Bhoral was attacked and killed while he was returning home at Saralpara near Kokrajhar town after his official duty in the night of Wednesday.

The All Assam Gorkha Students Union (AAGSU), Assam Nepali Sahitya Sabha and several other organisations condemned the incident and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.
