About 3.5 quintal of adulterated ghee was seized today during a raid at a factory here, police said.
Officials of the Food and civil supply department had received a tip-off about the factory few days back.
One person was arrested in the raid, they said, adding that 3.5 quintal of adulterated ghee and ghee making equipment were seized.
A food and civil supply inspector said the factory owner used to supply adulterated ghee in the National Capital Region.
Meanwhile, police arrested a man with seven cartons of illicit liquor in another part of the town. The arrested person is a resident of Brijvihar Colony.
