A major fire broke out at a handicraft factory in sector 63 here today, even as no one was injured as the workers were safely evacuated in time, police said.
A fire broke out at the fourth floor of a building at F- 454 sector 63 in the morning, said DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police) Ajay Choudhary.
Some workers were working inside at the time of fire but they were safely evacuated, he said, adding that ten fire tenders were rushed to the spot which took four hours to extinguish the fire.

Goods and furniture were destroyed in the fire, said Choudhary.
The company manufactures handicraft products from wood and cloth.
