Fire at shoe factory

A fire broke out at a shoe factory

here today in which stock and equipment worth Rs one crore were damaged, police said.

The fire was suspected to have caused by short circuit. Shoes and machinery worth Rs one crore were destroyed by it, they said.

Six fire tenders could control the fire after five hours.

A probe is on into cause of it.
