Fire breaks out in school

Scores of students were evacuated from a private school building in outer Delhi's Rohini after a fire broke out in its premises today.

The fire was reported around 9.30 AM and four fire tenders were rushed to the spot immediately, said a fire official.

The fire originated from a faulty electricity meter and it was doused within minutes, the fire official added.

Classes in the school resumed once the cooling operation was over and no one has been reported injured, said a police officer.
