A fire broke out in a shop
selling religious items in Marothia Bazar area here gutting the goods inside, police and fire officials said today.
The blaze occured last night. However no loss of life or injury was reported from the mishap site, fire brigade sources said.
Nearly 30 tankers of water was pressed into service to douse the flames.
The cause of the fire is not yet clear, the sources added.
