First image of 'The Last Witch Hunter' released

The first image from Vin Diesel's supernatural action movie 'The Last Witch Hunter' has been revealed.

Diesel, 47, plays an immortal warrior in present day New York, forced to team up with his natural enemy, a witch, to stop the covens of New York City from releasing a deadly plague, reported Digital Spy.

He stars alongside 'Lord of the Rings' star Elijah Wood, 'Game of Thrones' actor Rose Leslie and Michael Caine.

Director Breck Eisner recently exited 'The Karate Kid 2' due to his attachment to 'The Last Witch Hunter'.

Diesel recently seemed to hint at a role in an unannounced Marvel Studios Inhumans project.
 

It has been confirmed that the actor's most recent movie, 'Guardians of the Galaxy', is getting a sequel.
