: Fishermen of various Associations in Tamil Nadu today said their representatives would participate in the tripartite talks between India and Sri Lanka in the island nation on April 7.
Among their demands would be release of 141 boats still under Sri Lankan custody. If this was not done, fishermen from all over the state would leave to Katchatheevu islet and launch an indefinite fast, Rameswaram Fishermen's Association leader P Sesuraja and secretary of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Fishermen's Association N J Bose, told reporters
Cine director Gouthaman took part in the meeting as a mark of solidarity with them, the leaders said.
