Four family members were among five persons who were killed today when a car in which they were travelling hit a stationary lorry in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, police said.
The family was returning from Kolkata after attending a marriage when the accident took place at Satyanarayanapuram village on the National Highway-15 in Denduluru Mandal of West Godavari district, killing all of them on the spot, they said.
The deceased included the car driver, a 40-year-old woman and two children aged 15 and 17, police added.
