Five persons, including two children, were killed after being struck by lightning in different areas of the district, police said today.
The deaths were reported from separate areas due to lightning yesterday and this morning, they said.
The district witnessed dust storm followed by heavy rains in the past 24 hours.
The deceased were identified as Bhagwan Bind (68) Suddu (9), Safiullaha (16), Sharda (5) and Mahendra (38).
