Five minor tribal girls were rescued following the arrest of the trafficker from Goilkera under Goilkera police station of West Singhbhum district today, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team arrested one Sardar Dusru Angaria, the alleged trafficker who has lured the girls and was taking them to Delhi on the assurance of providing them job, said Superintendent of Police, Michael Raj S.
Angaria was a resident of Khutpai village under the police station limit.
Michael Raj said of the resuced girls, three were 11-year-old while two others were 14 and 15-year-old, he added.
