A blanket of dense flog engulfed the national capital this morning affecting railway services, although the weather did not dampen the 67th Republic Day celebrations on Rajpath here.
"The minimum temperature recorded at 8.30 AM was 7 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year. The humidity was 97 per cent," a MeT official said.

According to railway officials, 30 Delhi-bound trains were delayed and 46 remained cancelled as announced earlier.
However, flight operations remained normal at the Delhi Airport.
The weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy day ahead with the possibility of dense fog tomorrow morning.
Yesterday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 6.5 degrees Celsius while the maximum settled at 18.6 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season's average.
