Former Cong legislator's son commits suicide

The son of a former Congress legislator allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself today, police said.

Pradeep, 38, son of former Congress legislator Chaman Lal Chaman, shot himself this evening, they said.

Police suspect Pradeep was under stress as he was unemployed and this resulted in him taking the extreme step.

The body has been sent for postmortem.
