Former Indian cricket team manager Kotwal dead

Keki Kotwal, a former cricket sub committee member of the Cricket Club of India, who went as manager of the Indian team to the ICC Knockout tournament in Nairobi, Kenya in October 2000, passed away here today.

He was 75 and died after a battle against cancer, according to sources.

Kotwal, who served on CCI's cricket sub committee for 27 years, had also attended a host of BCCI Working Committee meetings when the late Raj Singh Dungarpur headed the country's apex cricket body.
