Former Maharashtra minister Vijaykumar Gavit hospitalised

BJP MLA from Nandurbar and former tribal development minister Dr Vijaykumar Gavit has been admitted to a hospital here after he suffered a paralysis attack.

He was now stable, said Dr Hemant Ostawal, chief of Suyash Hospital.

He was admitted in ICU last night.

Gavit was earlier with NCP. He was sacked from Congress-NCP cabinet after his daughter Heena Gavit accepted BJP ticket for Lok Sabha election last year.
