Former MP Malti Sharma dead
Former Uttar Pradesh minister and parliamentarian Malti Sharma died after brief illness, according to her family.
She was 89.
Sharma, a BJP leader, died here Sunday night.
She was elected to the Uttar Pradesh Assembly from Muzaffarnagar constituency in 1977. She was a former junior minister in Uttar Pradesh.
She was elected to Rajya Sabha in 1994.
