Four bodies, including that of a child, were recovered from two districts in Bihar today.
Bodies of a woman and her minor son were recovered from Sone Canal near Khaira village in Bihar's Aurangabad district today, police said.
The bodies were identified as that of Kiran Devi (30) wife of Ravi Ranjan and her son Sunny (8) hailing from Parkhaul village of the district, Officer In-charge of Baroon police station Sanjay Kumar Sinha said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem at Aurangabad Sadar hospital, the police said.
The reason for the death is yet to be ascertained, he said.
In another incident at Bhagalpur district, two bodies were recovered in Pirpanti police station localities today.
Body of a 15-year-old girl identified as Nisha Kumari, who was missing since a few days, was found in a well near Luxmipur village, Kahalgaon, Deputy superintendent of police, Neeraj Kumar Singh said.
Another body of an unidentified woman was recovered at Mallickpur diara (riverine) of the same police station area, the DSP said.
Police have been taken the bodies into custody and sent for post-mortem, the DSP added.
