Four injured, hundreds of houses damaged in storm

Four persons were injured and hundreds of houses were damaged in a storm which hit Sitalgram area of Birbhum district, official sources said today.

The storm hit Sitalgram area under Rampurhat sub-division last night and damaged hundreds of houses rendering thousands of villagers homeless.

Officers of the Birbhum district administration visited the area and arranged relief materials for those whose houses were damaged in the storm.
