Four kids drown in quarry

Four children, including three

siblings, today got drowned in a quarry located under Bikhiriya police station area in the city, police said.

According to police, two children- Ayush (6) and Shubham (8) had gone to take a bath at the quarry. However, they got drowned after they entered deep waters.

Gullu (15) and Sheila (10), who saw this, tried to save the duo, but they also got drowned, they said.

Their bodies were later fished out and sent for post-mortem to the Hamidia hospital.
