Four killed in incidents of firing in Pakistan

Four persons, including a police official and a 14-year-old girl, were killed in separate incidents of firing in Pakistan's restive Balochistan province today.

Police said assistant sub-inspector of police Kudratulah was gunned down by two men on a motorcycle in the provincial capital.

"His son was also critically injured in what apparently appears to be a targeted attack," SSP Imran Qureshi told reporters.

The assailants fled from the scene after the attack.

In another incident of targeted killing, armed men gunned down an Afghan national in the Satellite Town area.

In Kasi colony, some armed men opened fire at a house and killed two persons, including the 14-year old girl.
