Four members of a family, including a child, were killed and six others got injured in a road accident here in wee hours today, police said.
The mishap occurred when an SUV, carrying over ten members of a Nashik-based family, hit the road divider and overturned on Pune-Bangalore National Highway near here in South Maharashtra, police said.
The deceased were identified as Ramrao Dagdu Shinde (60), Nalin Dashrath Shinde (50), Kavita Dilip Shinde (22) and Raj Nitin Shinde (3).
The injured were admitted to Chhatrapati Pramilaraje District Hospital here, they added.
