Four of family get life term for murder

Additional District and Sessions Judge Ajay Tewatia convicted Shri Chand, his two brothers, Shanker Lal and Pramod, as well as his son Vipin Kumar on Wednesday, after holding them guilty of killing a youth during a marriage in February.

A fine of Rs 20,000 each was also slapped on them.

The accused, all residents of Qutubpur colony area here, had thrashed the youth, Lala, to death following an altercation on February 10, prosecution said.
