Four persons of a family, including a four-year-old boy, were killed and 11 others injured today when the van in which they were travelling collided with a lorry near here, police said.
The incident occurred at 3.45 am when 14 members of a family were returning to their native place at Porayar in Nagapattinam district after visiting Kanyakumari, they said.
Four persons travelling in the van died on the spot, police said.
The injured, including the driver of the lorry, have been admitted to a hospital.
