The City Crime Branch police have arrested one more person in the case relating to the murder of fisherman Rajesh Kotian at Ullal near here on April 12, which had sparked widespread protest from the fishermen community.
Police gave the name of the arrested person as Abdul Rannees, a resident of Kelagebeedu in Ullal. Rajesh Kotian, a fisherman belonging to Mogaveerapatna in Ullal, was found murdered at Kotepura near his residence on April 12. He was on his way to the boat jetty to go for fishing early morning.
Three persons, Mohammed Asweer, Abdul Mutalib and a juvenile had already been arrested by CCB police from near Someshwara railway station near Ullal on April 14.

Abdul Rannees was arrested from near Farangipet bus stand yesterday and handed over to Ullal police for further investigation, police said.
Police are on the search for two others suspected to have been involved in the murder.
The entire Mogaveera community in the coastal region had held a massive protest in front of the Ullal police station following the murder.
