Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section select centres dropped by Rs 1,000 at the local truck transport market in the national capital today following large position of trucks in the markets.
Transporters said easy availability of trucks largely pulled down some of centres freight rates.
Delhi to Jaipur and Kanpur freight rates moved down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 16,000 and Rs 21,000.
Rates to Gwalior and Puducherry also went down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 14,000 and Rs 72,000.
