French Embassy, FAI conducts fencing camp in Delhi

A five-day fencing camp, conducted by the Embassy of France in association with the Fencing Association of India (FAI), concluded here today.

In the event, two French fencing masters-at-arms, Olivier Lambert and Jean-Bernard Duchateau, demonstrated the art of fencing to the general public, which was followed by a competition among 25 amateur Indian fencers.

"We are very excited to be in India and teach the art of fencing to some of the budding fencers in the city, Fencing is a sport which needs immense concentration and years of practise.

"We would like to thank Bonjour India for crafting this wonderful program that celebrates the sport of fencing and develops multiple links between fencing athletes and practitioners from both countries, said Lambert and Duchateau in a joint release.
