Gang planning to loot petrol pump arrested

Six members of an armed gang planning to loot a petrol pump here were arrested, police said today.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided an area and the gangsters, who were planning to loot a petrol pump, were arrested yesterday, City DCP Sanjib Arora said.

Three arms, nine ammunition, three sharp weapons, seven cell phones, three bikes and packet of red chilli powder were recovered from the them, he said.
