Ganja worth Rs 4.13 lakh seized in Maha, 6 held

Six people were arrested after 'ganja' worth Rs 4.13 lakh was recovered from them in Thane district of Maharashtra, police said on Thursday.

Acting on a tip-off, the police raided an apartment in Mumbra township here on Wednesday and recovered 29.5 kg of the ganja from the premises, a police spokesperson said.

Six people present in the premises were arrested and booked under relevant provisions of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, she said.

The seized contraband was valued at around 4.13 lakh, she added.
