Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today congratulated cricket maestro Sachin Tendulkar for his nomination for Bharat Ratna, saying his dedication to cricket was incomparable.
"Sachin's discipline in cricket has taken him to the highest peak of success in his career," Gehlot said in a statement here.
Tendulkar, who retired from international cricket today, was chosen for the country's highest civilian honour, becoming the first sportsman to be bestowed with the award.

"Announcement by President will boost the morale of thousands of sports persons and those loving the cricket.
"He (Sachin) would be the first sportsman to be bestowed with this honour, and it would be an example for others to follow," Gehlot said.
