Generally cloudy day in Delhi, light rains in morning hours

It was generally a cloudy day with sunny patches in the national capital today, while the morning hours witnessed light rains.

The maximum temperature was 23.6 degrees Celsius, six notches below the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 11.4 degrees Celsius, three degrees below normal, the MeT department said.

The Safdarjung observatory, the recording of which is considered the official figure for the city, received 2.3 mm rainfall till 8.30 AM.

Humidity levels oscillated between 95 and 42 percent.

The weatherman has forecast clear skies for tomorrow and said, "The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 25 and 9 degrees Celsius, respectively.
