Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today said Goa is yet to receive any proposal from the Union Defence Ministry to host upcoming defence expo in the state.
"If the Defence Ministry wants to host the expo in Goa, then we will consider the proposal. We are yet to receive any proposal from them," Parrikar, former Defence Minister told reporters here.
The Defence Expo 2016 was held in Goa's Betul village when Parrikar was minister in the union cabinet.

The chief minister said if the defence ministry approaches with the proposal to host the upcoming expo in Goa it would be a golden opportunity for the state.
He said the money for hosting the exhibition is spent by the defence ministry, which benefits the local population.
